Every Memorial Day weekend, Boy Scouts all over the United States place flags at the graves of veterans. The Maui County Council of the BSA assigns each troop a number of plots to honor. Troop 22 covers cemeteries in Kahului, Makena, Pu'unene, and Waikapu.
