CAMPOUT
The campout scheduled for Nov. 14 - 15 will be rescheduled (We needed one more parent to camp with the boys and only a few of the boys were going to go. Some of the boys were going to Camp Maluhia with Mark to help with a cub scout range day.)

EAGLE SCOUT PREPARATION
4 boys from our troop are now working on planning their Eagle Scout project/final requirements DYLAN, NATHAN, NASH & KAHUA. Please make sure to check in with Carl or Mark if you need any assistance or if you have any questions.

POPCORN REPORT
Thank you to everyone for participating in selling popcorn and working towards earning money for Troop 22. A big thank you to the scouts and parents who helped sell in front of Safeway for the 3 weekend days: BENJAMIN, ROSANNE, DYLAN, STEVE, GREG, MARIE, KALEB, TRICIA, DESMOND, KAHUA, ELLIE, NASH, DAN, NATHAN, MARY, NICK, TOBY, NYK, RICH, NOAH & JASON. You were able to raise $971.00 in sales during those 3 days and approximately $450 in donations!!!

Thank you to all the scouts who participated in selling popcorn on their own: BENJAMIN, CHRIS, DYLAN, GREG, KALEB, KAHUA, NASH, NATHAN, NYK, NOAH & THOMAS. You were successful in selling $2,350 worth of popcorn!!! Our total popcorn sales this year is $3,321.0 (down a bit from the last 2 years (2008 $4,432 2007 $5,902) but almost the same as 2006 ($1.00 more this year!). Our commission from our popcorn sales this year will be about $797.00 plus the donations we received in front of Safeway will put us a approximately $1,247.00 earned for Troop 22!!! GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!

I want to send an extra big thank you out to Tricia who helped me organize the store front sales and to Marie for helping me input our popcorn order on line. You were both a big help to me. We expect the popcorn pickup from the scout office to be around December 5th and I will let everyone know when it is here so that you can come by and pick it up and start distributing it.

March, 2010 is a tentative date for a trip to Oahu to spend the night on a battleship!! Watch for more information to come.

SCOUTARAMA will be held at War Memorial Stadium in April, 2010. Be prepared for the biggest Scoutarama ever! Troop 22 will be running the range this year. It will take a couple of days to set up and held one Saturday and then one day for breakdown. More information to come.

NYLT - NATIONAL YOUTH LEADERSHIP TRAINING
Mark just returned from California for training for NYLT and is starting to plan for NYLT on Maui to be held at Camp Maluhia June 14-19. Please plan on these days as this is the first NYLT that has been on Maui for many, many years, if ever! Mark is putting together the program with the scout office right now so it is sure to be a big even not to be missed.

FUTURE COMMITTEE/PARENT MEETINGS FOR TROOP 22
The next Committee/Parent meeting will be held on Thursday, December 10th at 7:00 at Mark's office while the boys hold their Scout meeting. Parents, please plan on staying at Mark's office for one hour that evening so that we can have our parent meeting. The last meeting was the best attendance yet and we all felt that it would be a good way to get
everyone together rather than hold our meetings on different days. I look forward to seeing everyone there.
