Blue & Gold Banquet, Whale Day
Image for Entry 1266434408 Aloha Everyone:

This weekend is busy, with two events.

Parade - Whale Day Parade Saturday, Feb. 20, 8:00 am Kihei Library

We've been invited to march in the Whale Day parade this year - if you would like to march please email me. The organizers were really hoping to have us there and if we can get at least 10 boys together with Pack I think that will be a good showing. We will need to march in Class A uniform. Meet at 8am at the Kihei Library and be ready to march at 9am. Each boy that marches will recieve a goodie bag from the event as a makana for showing up. I personally have never been to this event so don't know what to expect but I've heard the parade is fairly short nothing like the Maui County fair parade so we should be done early.

Let me know if you will be available - Ellie needs to confirm with the organizers right away how many of us will be there.
Mark will check with Ellie to see if they also need someone to do a color guard for the opening of Whale Day.

Also, this weekend is our Blue & Gold dinner with Pack 22. It is on SUNDAY, FEB. 21 AT KALAMA PARK DINING HALL NEXT TO THE BASEBALL FIELD AT 2:30.

Bring your own beverage if you want something other then water and or malomalo juice.

Robbie and Rosanne will work on a center piece for our tables. Anyone else who has blue and gold items to decorate our tables would be welcome to combine with the decorations.

There will be some games for a Gathering activity - Troop 22 will be running the games - just for fun!

We will also have a Court of Honor so remember Class A uniform and EVERYONE - Scouts, parents, siblings, guests must wear closed toe shoes.

MARK: Please let Mary know what awards she needs to pick up from the Scout office this week so that the Boys can receive them at the Blue and Gold Court of Honor.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
Rosanne

REMEMBER TO PLEASE E-MAIL ME TO LET ME KNOW IF YOU WILL OR WILL NOT BE ATTENDING THE PARADE AND/OR THE BLUE & GOLD DINNER.
