Boy Scout Troop 22

WE ARE GOING TO NEED ALL SCOUTS AND PARENTS TO HELP OUT WITH THIS VERY IMPORTANT FUNDRAISER.
PLEASE REVIEW THE LIST OF SUPPLIES NEEDED AND E-MAIL ME BACK TO CONFIRM THAT YOU WILL BE THERE AND WHAT YOU CAN BRING FROM THE LIST BELOW.

SATURDAY, MAY 15
CAR WASH FUNDRAISER AT AZEKA 10:00 - 4:00
(***Everyone to be there at 9:00 am for set up***)
This is an important fundraiser and we will need everyone (scouts and parents) to come out and help.
We should be able to raise at least $1,000.00 that day.
Rosanne has submitted all the required paperwork to both the Scout Office and Azeka in order to have this carwash. The reservation for this date was made months in advance (there are a lot of non-profits that want to have their car wash at Azeka.

We will need the following items the day of:

Signs - Each scout is to create a sign so that we can advertise our car wash
Please try to make the sign as large as possible and lots of color.
The boys will take turns holding up their signs on the sidewalk.

1 Faucet to Hose splitter for 2 hoses - Mark
2 long Hoses and 2 spray nozzles - Mark
car wash soap - Rosanne
Lots of pails
Lots of rags
soft brushes with long handles
squeegees
4 step stools/short ladders to reach the roof

2 shade tents
2 - 6' tables (Rosanne to bring one)
Cash Box (Does anyone have one???)
Bring your own chair
Bring your own cooler with drinks and snacks
(There are lots of restaurants close by to pick up lunch)


Everyone received 12 pre-sale tickets. The carwash cost is $5.00 for a car and $7.00 for a truck.
If you want to offer people a $1.00 discount on your tickets you can do so. I am expecting that everyone turn in $60.00 for their 12 tickets. The amount they turn in will go into their own account
and they will receive the whole amount as credit towards their costs of travel to Alaska in 2011 to attend Boy Scout Summer Camp in Alaska next summer.

The money we make the day of will be split among the boys who help wash cars all day.
